Sinds een paar jaar kies ik aan het eind van het jaar een nieuwe hobby die ik wel eens wil proberen, eind 2022 werd het stempelen in combinatie met aquarel. Het leek me een goede manier om te leren mijn perfectionisme los te laten en mooie dingen te creëren. Ik had gelijk en ben na het kijken van een eerste tutorial compleet verslaafd. Omdat ik je het hoe en wat niet beter kan uitleggen dan de bedenkster en haar dochters, ga ik hier niet veel vertellen maar voornamelijk mijn werkjes laten zien. Hopelijk vind je het leuk om mijn vooruitgang te zien en misschien raak je geïnspireerd om het zelf ook eens te proberen, ik kan het je van harte aanraden. For a few years now I've been choosing a new hobby to try at the end of the year, at the end of 2022 I chose stamping in combination with watercolor. It seemed like a good way to learn to let go of my perfectionism and create some beautiful things. I was right and after watching a first tutorial I am completely addicted.
I can't explain the how to better than the creator and her daughters, so I won't tell much here, but mainly show my work. Hello Bluebird stamps done the Art Impressions way
Kaarten gemaakt voor de lieve dames uit de FB groep 'the Art Impressions way" met de 3 dieren freebie stempel die ik van ze heb gekregen en scene voor een lieve dame waar ik gestempelde afdrukken van kreeg.
Made cards for the lovely ladies from the FB group 'the Art Impressions way' with the 3 animal freebie stamps I received from them and a scene for a lovely lady from whom I received stamped prints.

Voor de Don't fence me in Challenge ging mijn hoofd naar de regels niet volgen, dus gooide ik die overboord en probeerde ik zoveel mogelijk kleuren te gebruiken en een lekker vol tafereeltje te creëren. Ik vind hem erg leuk geworden wat denken jullie maak ik een kansje?
For the Don't Fence me in Challenge my head went to not following the rules so I threw those overboard and tried to use as many colors as possible and create a busy scene and I really like it.
Stamp sets used: 4762 fence, 4959 dog, 4873 cat, 4869 pots, 5571 bird, all kind of flowers/foliage & freebie bear 2022 bee

de ene keer lukt beter dan de andere maar ik heb het enorm naar mijn zin

zelfde dag/same day - Craft Sensation markers (Action) vs Tombow ATB dual brush pens
Heel veel oefenen en waterbasis stiften/aquarel papier soorten uitproberen, goed materiaal maakt een wereld van verschil.
A lot of practicing and trying out types of water-based markers / watercolor paper, good materials makes a big difference.
De twee bloempotten zijn mijn eerste werkje, nog niet op het goede papier.

De eendenvijver is mijn eerste keer met de tutorial (steeds gepauzeerd).
The duck pond is my first time with the tutorial (frequently paused)
